1935-1936 Exposition California State Building

Automotive Museum Murals
The Committee of One Hundred plans to bring back the long-missing murals that originally graced the entrance to this building. Full-size, temporary murals, each 18 ft high by 8 ft wide, will be mounted above the entrance as the first step in restoration of this building, built as the California State Building for the 1935 California Pacific International Exposition. This will kick-off a fund-raising campaign to recreate these murals in permanent ceramic tile.
