Restoring Balboa Park's Plaza de Panama

Mayor Sanders announced, in his January 2010 State of the City address, that the Plaza de Panama will be restored before the 2015 Centennial. Parked cars will be gone and the Park will have an improved transportation system. The Plaza will once again become the magnificent public space it was meant to be.


The Mayor has stated that no general funds will be used for this important project, estimated to cost up to $6 million.
