Restoration of the San Diego Automotive Museum

We are in the first stage of this project, recreating four large color murals—representing California Agriculture, Industry, Scenic Beauty, and Transportation—above the entrance of this building when it was built for the 1935-1936 Exposition as the California State Building. Each of these murals was 18 feet high by 18 feet wide.

Support from our members and donors enables our efforts to preserve Balboa Park’s architectural heritage for our children and grandchildren to enjoy.
