Current Projects

Restoration of the San Diego Automotive Museum

We are in the first stage of this project, recreating four large color murals above the entrance, when this building was the 1935-1936 Exposition’s California State Building

Cabrillo Bridge Historic Lamp Restoration

This project is was completed in late 2016. These 31 double lamps from the 1915-1916 Panama-California Exposition have been restored. The Committee of One Hundred, the Friends of Balboa Park, the Balboa Park Conservancy, and the Balboa Park Trust at the San Diego Foundation initiated the project by contributing $25,000 each.

During this second year of the Centennial, we continue to add more original material. We’d like to add yours as well. We post images of your treasures&emdash;you keep the originals. This collection can be viewed online at www.pancalarchive.org
